Room Discounts During Xmas Week??

Hi

We plan to head to WDW again this (3rd) year with our arrival date being 12/28. Are there ever any room discounts during this time with AAA or season passess. I have read where people state that they have Never paid "rack rate" and I can't help but wonder how that is done. Thanks for your help.

I can't say for sure, but I imagine discounts are pretty rare for one of the busiest weeks of the year. I hope you already have reservations.

The way a lot of people get around this is that they check-in in Value Season (usually ends around 12/21) and then stay through Holiday Season. If you check in during Value season, that rate stays throughout your stay.

we are checking in 19th December (last day of value season) and got a AAA rate for all of our stay

we are also checking in on the 19th and leaving the 26th. great rate with AAA!!!

We aren't certain of our dates yet, but if we were to book from the 19-31 and later determined (with flights etc) that we had to revise this would we still get the low season rate. We too have CAA and plan to do a room only booking. Do you think they would adjust our rate UP if we had to cancel the the value dates portion of the stay.
