Room Block Question!

I'm getting married on July 1st of this year. Most of my party is staying offsite. I don't think I will have an issue filling the room block, but should I just ask you fellow brides out there to help me now?

Does it hurt to have more ressies than needed?

It doesn't hurt to have more reservations than you need, but I'd wait to ask people to help you until you actually it.
