why are only certain hotels available for room blocks? can you choose the others anyway? i'm specifically asking about POP! i love that place and think it's so cute, but it wasn't on the list they sent me...

i'm pretty sure you can choose the value's, some people on here have, think they may just give you the more expensive options so they can make more money!!! ;)

We were just told Pop does not have convention ability- whatever that means. Any other hotel on property you can use:confused3

We were told the same thing just a few months ago about Pop Century...that it's not part of the group reservations/conventions system so it can't be used. :sad2:

You can still have people stay there at the POP rate. If you get their reservations numbers, you can apply it against the room guarantee that you need. Offer that as an option to your guests, just give them the regular Disney number to call.

Since we're on the subject of the room block...I have a question about using it. Since we have decided on a custom wishes Vow Renewal, we now have to guarantee 25 room nights....now I really like to book a package deal...I like the whole room, tickets, food thing...for us it just works better. It's also easier to sell it to my parents with the whole deal.

Can we book our packages and still use them to meet the room block requirement? I have 8 nights, our children will have 4 room nights, as will my sister and parents. So we're already at 16 room nights, IF we can book that way.

Thanks for the help,

You can book packages but you can not use the discounted room rate when booking a package. As long as you are willing to pay full price for your room then you just give your em the reservation numbers and they are applied to your room night minimums.

We have booked pakcages here in the uk and we will just give disney the res numbers and they go towards our min room nights

 Thanks Skylarr29 and orangetiggs:hug: ,

I was hoping that's what I'd hear...I really don't mind paying the non-discounted rate because I get so much more for my money by booking the package.

Happy Planning!
