I'm posting this here and hope ya'll can help answer a question for my mother.
We are staying at AKL in Dec. My mom has multiple health issues and diabetes. She asked me if she could have a microwave in her room. I don't know if this is doable or not. I figured you all would know the answer to this, as I've not seen it addressed elsewhere. I think she wants to be able to heat certain foods for breakfast or later at night. I know AKL has refrigerators in all rooms, right? As for the microwave, my mom has a small one she could bring, if allowable. If microwaves are not allowed in rooms, what are her options for heating foods?

There are microwaves in the food courts - I think this is at every resort.

I also noticed the AKL one-bedroom suites come with what looks like a microwave from a photo I saw. I don't know what kind of AKL room you're in.

The AK Disney Vacation Club Studios have a small refrigerator and a microwave. The larger DVC rooms have a full kitchen.

There are small refrigerators in all the regular rooms at Moderate (CBR, SSR, PO resorts) and Deluxe resorts (AKLodge, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge).
