room 7001 on miagic???

It is a great room in a fantastic location! We have stayed in 7010 & 7503 and are booked in 7504 next cruise. You will be at the end of the hall with a door leading to the bridge so hardly any traffic by your door! :) The room is the same size as any category 10 - 5. There is more storage than the higher categories too because there is a double storage trunk. I loved that part & will miss it with our 8 next time.

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for that report on the rooms. My family has a whole bunch of rooms up that way for our cruise in 2006. 7503, 7501, 7500, 7522, 7502(?) Was there also a door to the bridge on that side of the ship? My sis was concerned about noise from the bridge but I told her it should be ok, she's in 7500. Enjoy your trip.

Yes there is also a door on the other side of the ship in the 7000 room hallway. We were never bothered by it though. I believe that is just a staircase that leads up to the ship. We did see officers walking by often. The noise is very low there. It will be our third time in that area, and part of our decision for which date to book was if those rooms were available if that tells you anything. :)

Yes, just confirms my thoughts and why I picked that area. It had cabins in all categories for all so we could be near each other and the last two cruises we were on deck 5 (first in SPH room 5020 and last in Cat. 8 around that area) near elevators and stairs. I found that to be quiet and convenient to mostly everything. My brother was in the middle of ship on deck 8 and that was just endless walking - with doors everywhere. Haven't told my kids or husband yet -- the secret is killing me -- my girls just watched the "Perfect Proposal" with DCL that I taped last Friday, and I course I slipped up a bit.

** Did 7503 have the bunks? I forgot to ask when I booked, but its really not a big deal if they don't. My Mom and 2 nieces are in that room.

Yes, 7503 did have the pull down bed from the ceiling. :)

Glad to hear the good reports!! We are in 7007 & 7009 in April. Was worried that it may be to far forward. My dh was worried about the movement that far foward.

Honestly, I felt more movement in Parrot Cay during lunch. Everything I had read said that the further down & back you are the less you feel it...not at all true for us. We were rocked to sleep every night. :)
