Rookie mistake! HELP

We leave in 5 days...yes 5 days and I'm just now realizing. We are going to MGM on Saturday, the 9th for Star Wars Weekend. Silly me scheduled breakfast at Hollywood Dine and Vine place at 8:05am that morning. Apparently that's bad because we need to get to the SW stuff right away. Should I try to reschedule this breakfast skip it all together? DH and I are taking DS8 and DD4 on this trip.

I'd skip H&V altogether unless your 4 year old is *really* set on seeing JoJo and the Little Einstein chars. This was probably our worst meal the whole trip (we were at lunch though, it's harder to screw up breakfast). We also found the character interaction lacking -- they came around and everything, but somehow seemed very bored.

What time does the park open that day? If it's a 9 am open you could likely get your breakfast in and be first in line at whatever you wanted to get to. You might not get to see all the characters but you can eat as fast as you want. If it's an 8 am open I'd skip the breakfast or reschedule for lunch. We did the H&V character lunch and it was not our favorite. We had to wait forever for the characters and the food was pretty marginal.

Thanks! I've decided to cancle the H&V breakfast. Now we have 6 TS credits left I have to figure out what to do with.

Can you book lunch there for later in the day? They still have the characters at kunch time at H&V. Also you could try to get into 50's PT, Mama Melrose, Hollywood brown derby( 2 credits each) or Sci Fi drive in. you have to eat sometime either lunch or dinner.

FYI---

Mama Melrose is delicious---it's my fav restaurant at MGM. 50s Prime Time is also good, and the kids enjoyed the waiters being "in character" and fussing at mom and dad for not setting the table, etc...

I would definitely try to make reservations for the rest of the meals you have left over ... we were at Mama Melrose and Liberty Tree Tavern 2 weeks ago (with reservations) and they stopped taking walk-ins because they were so busy.

We have always had a great time and H&V, food and character interaction. MGM has such good TS! We also love 50's, Mama and Sci Fi!
