Rookie Cart Questions

We are staying at the Cabins in late April and renting a cart from Kenny. What are the guidelines for traveling by cart? Do they operate on the same roadways as the buses do? The maps I have seen seem to show a secondary path or road are these for carts?

Can you estimate how long it takes by cart to go from the Meadows area to the marina and then also to the Outpost from the Meadows?

Is there plenty of parking at the Settlement, Meadows and Outpost for the carts? Do you plug them in while you are away or just park them

Here are the cart rules http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1733453 just remember to yield to a bus.

By cart it's just a couple minutes from the middle of The Fort to the furthest end. Yes, there is plenty of parking and some spots have plugs. We find if we start the day on a full charge we're good till evening. But if you get near a spot go ahead and plug in.

There are some paths that are carts and bikes only. There is an entrance to a cart path at the Settlement to drive up to the Trading Post and cart parking. There is a cart lot across from Pioneer Hall and one between the Trading Post and beach for the marina access. We didn't find that at first, so we had to drive around a little. Then we just followed someone else and once we got the hang of that area, it was really easy.

The golf cart was so fun, we are planning to get one for our entire trip next time.
