My fiance and I are going on our honeymoon from Oct. 3rd to Oct. 9th. We're staying at the Pop-Century resort. Upon arrival, we were going to spend the remainder of the day at Downtown Disney. Since we will be on our honeymoon, I'd like to visit some nice restaurants. My fiance and I are also vegetarian, so we'd need places with veggie options. Can anyone please recommend some restaurants for me?

I'd like to find restaurants for the following:
1. Downtown Disney
2. One day we plan on visiting both water parks (is this doable in one day, or should we split them up?) - are there any nice restaurants at either park? Or can anyone make a suggestion on a restaurant we can easily get to from one of the parks for dinner?
3. We'd like to visit the Magic Kingdom for an entire day and see the fireworks at night. What's a good restaurant we could visit to watch the fireworks?
4. We'd like to visit MGM studios and see the light show as well. What would be a good restaurant to do this at?
5. Epcot restaurants?
6. Are there any other nice restaurants we should check out that are romantic & have good food?

Thanks in advance!! This is our first visit & I'm completely overwhelmed!!

**edit: we do not eat any meat, pork, chicken, or seafood.

I suggest you check out Deb's site. She has lots of great info for vegetarians. Deb's Vegetarian info and Vegetarian at resorts On her site, you can also check out all the menus at the different restaurants, which may help you decide. :)

I'm not a vegetarian, so I'm not familiar with those offerings, but here's a list of my favorites:

Jiko - Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Boma - Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is a buffet. Very unique and would probably have many choices for you. Not romantic, though. But still a nice place to eat.

California Grill - Contemporary Resort - I wouldn't call this romantic as the place is VERY loud. However, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere cannot be beat (high on top of the resort). If you time it right and get a window table, you can watch the MK fireworks.

Cinderella's Royal Table (for dinner only...other meals are character) - Nothing is better than dining in the castle!!

San Angel Inn at World Showcase - The atmosphere here is amazing, however the tables are very close together and the food gets mixed reviews. People either hate it or love it. We really enjoy it.

In general, most of the table service restaurants at the resorts will be more romantic than anything you will find in the parks.

The water parks do not have anything other than table service. And I would NOT go straight from a water park to a nice restaurant. Definitely give yourself time to go back to the resort to shower and change.

In DD the best restaurant is Portobello Yacht Club.
The water parks have nothing. I'd split them up--and as Skuttle suggests, not a great idea to go to dinner directly from the water park. If time permits and you do BB, JIko is an excellent restaurant in that general vicinity.
For the MK evening, either California Grill or Narcoosee's would be nice and both have views of the fireworks.
At MGM, the Brown Derby is my favorite spot.
Epcot--the romantic spot seems to be Bistro D' paris.
And as one more alternative, Palio at the WDW Swan is romantic.
And as Skuttle suggests, first check the menus!!

#3- I suggest you go to the California Grill. This is what we did last year for our honeymoon. Yummy and romantic as all get out :)

:sunny: Hi

The views from narcoosee's and CG of wishes are both lovely but you can't beat the experience of watching it from main street especially if you are only going to see it once.

On our MK day we had an early dinner at 6pm at O'hannas with a view over to the castle which was lovely. Then we caught the boat back and watched wishes in the park.

On my birthday night we went to CG and watched from the balcony before having a beautiful meal. Even though i had a wonderful time i was glad i had seen it first in the park.

Hope you had a wonderful trip

Make sure to book Cinderella's Royal Table at the Castle and tell them it's your honeymoon. We honeymooned there in May 2004 and upon entering the Magic Kingdom a CM suggested we book a reservation there (it was obvious we were honeymooners because we wore bride and groom ears).
It was a wonderful meal with a lot of nice little surprises and a gift.
You won't be disappointed.
The bride and groom ears are great too. We got tons of perks wearing those in the parks. Too many to mention but lots of Disney magic!
