Romantic Dining at DD??

Hi All!

My husband and I are going to WDW for a wekk in February and will be there during Valentine's Day. Since we are staying at POR, we were thinking of having Valentine's Dinner at Downtown Disney so that we could take the boat there and back (we are thinking that the boat will lend a more romantic atmosphere than . .say. . a bus from the Magic Kingdom - LOL)

Sooooo, my dilemma is that I am not familiar with many of the restaurants in DD. Coudl someone suggest a good place for this special dinner? (The one restaurant I know of is Rain Forest Cafe and I'm thinking that, though animals can give a special sort of abience, we are looking for something a little subtler)

how about the upstairs of Wolfgang Puck's Cafe

Other place that I like is Palio at the Swan for a romantic dinner

What is the "Upstairs at Wolfgang Puck's" like? I've never heard of it. Is is a nice restaurant?

Wolfgangs' upstairs would likely fit your "romantic" criteria, but on these boards anyway, there are quite mixed reviews about the food and service!!
Nothing romantic about Fultons or Rainforest--but Portobello yacht Club might be worth taking a look at. Northern Italian food, and pretty inside too!!

Wolfgang's upstairs or Portobello are the two choices for a romantic dinner at DD. We have eaten at both and I prefer Portobello over Wolfgang's but for a romantic meal I would go to Wolfgangs. Enjoy
