Romance Basket that DCL Offers

anyone have any comments on this?? I was thinking of getting it to surprise DH (we are cruising with our kids but I still thought it would be nice). Here is the description:

Our TA gave us that as one of our gifts. The robes are fairly thin but nice. We use them at home after we get out of the shower. They make a great memory for us.

I am thinking of ordering this basket too. I thought it would be nice to add a bottle of champagne. It sounds like the robes are thin, but we will be cruising in September and it will probably be pretty warm anyway. Does anyone know if they will add champagne glasses when ordering the champagne? I've been debating on some flowers too. Since it is our 25th anniversary, I wanted to add some special touches.

We received the basket when we cruised in Feb. The robes are nice, the frame is just a plain silver frame, no DCL logo. It is something you could find at a department store. The chocolates were heart shaped. DH thought they were yummy. They were in a silver wire basket.

Just keep in mind you have to have room to pack up the robes and frame. We also brought home the basket.

We got this as part of the Romantic Escape At Sea package last month. The frame now has the logo at the bottom ... it's a very nice souvenir. The robes I thought were nice. They aren't the lush terry cloth spa robes, they are a waffle type pattern, but not thin. It's One Size Fits Most though which was a lot bigger than I would've preferred (I wear S/M t-shirts) but it was still nice to have and I made use of it during the cruise.

I didn't care for the chocolates. They were solid milk chocolates, I was hoping for truffles or something like that.

Yes, the robes have the logo on them.

Also , happy to hear the frame has the DCL logo on it!!!.

I still wish they would give out a small photo album instead. The glass in our frame was broken on the return trip home.

Another DISer on our cruise said her frame broke on the way home as well. I packed mine in my carryon backpack on the return home so it was safe.

I was emailed by DCL, I had wriiten on our comment card about being dissapointed by the plain frame. DCl offered to replace it, but since it was just a generic frame, I declined. I should have packed in the carryon. I wrapped it in the robes and I think there was just to much pressure in our bulging bag.

$75 I think..........not too bad considering you do get two robes but I was hoping they were terry not just cotton - oh well!
