Roll on cooler questions

Ok, I just need to ask one more time, can you roll on a soft side cooler filled with drinks as a carry on when you check in, or should I pack the water in my luggage with the cooler and fill it up in the cabin?

The cooler we found is excellent and it has a mesh bag on top that we could add some clothing to until our luggage gets delivered to room, so we thought this would be easy to roll around as our carry on...just need to know if I can use it with the water already in it?

Ok, you have a few rules you have to meet to bring it aboard.

First, NO ice! Ice can mess up the scanner and they will make you dump it all out befire letting you in. Don't worry, ice is available on Deck 9 at the drink station and your room steward will bring as much as you want.

Second, The size of your carry on must fit through the scanner to get into the terminal and on the ship after excursions. Disney uses an airport type scanner. The average size for one to fit is 22 inches long by 14 inches wide by 9 inches thick. It can't be much bigger than that.

Now, I would also say that free beverages are available immediately upon boarding. The drink station on deck 9 always has milk, lemonade, ice tea, coffee, hot water/tea bags, ice, and sometimes other beverages as well. And the water right out of the taps in your cabin is the equal of bottled water, if not superior to some brands. The ship makes its own water, they do not take it onboard at the ports. We filled our own containers with ice and water from the cabins last trip and were quite satisfied with it.
