We are arriving on Thursday the 4th for a long weekend, the purpose of which is to take my DD to Harry Potter World for her 13th Birthday on Friday the 5th. Is anyone else going to be there? We are staying at the Royal Pacific:wizard:

We will be there on the 4th and 5th too! Can't wait this is our first time to Universal and we are super excited!!!!

We will be there on the 4th & 5th. We have never been and are taking my 12 yr old and her bff. We are staying off property, but hoping to have a great time.

We'll be doing two days at IOA/US between 4th-7th. Someone mentioned last Friday was really crowded(?) so probably do 4th (thursday) and 6th (sat) or 7th (sun.)

Traveling to Orlando 11/2-11/6. We are doing SW, US & IofA each for one day. We are wondering if one park would be better for any day than another. We don't care what order we go to them in. Thanks!

We are leaving tomorrow afternoon for a quick trip. School is getting out early and we have Thursday and Friday off. We are going Thursday and Saturday. I know this is a short trip but we were at the Grand Opening June 18th. I'm looking foward to a lot less people and cooler temperatures.

We will be there Nov 2-8, and I cant wait!!! Staying off-site. Going wed Nov 3rd. and Sun Nov 7th. (And at some point, we'll probably see you all on Thurs also!! LOL!)

I will be there this Thursday with my daughter (15). I wish she had a friend to ride the rides with, since I don't do coasters. Oh well, maybe she'll be fine going alone. Have fun everyone!!

We will be there off site the 6th-13th. Today starts our 10 day countdown! :thumbsup2

Can't wait and just printing off all the last minute tips I'm finding here...

That's exactly what we're doing too! And I am pretty sure we are doing them in that order too, even though I heard IoA is really crowded on Fridays:confused3

I'm always around the park on Saturdays, usually seeing my favorite show. :)

We will be there on the 4th. I will be with my two rabid at the mouth 7 and 10 year old boys, and my 15 year old HP fan who will be trying to look detached and disinterested even though she has read the books 10 times each and cries when Sirius dies everytime...:)

we'll bethere5, 6 staying off site then heading to the world to close out food and wine. our first trip to us/ioa
very exciting:cool1::banana::yay:

4 working professionals who have been teased mercilessly for just how much we LOVE the Harry Potter series will be running around WWOHP Friday, the 5th through Sunday the 7th and CAN NOT WAIT! :cool1::wizard:

I have a ticket question if you all don't mind. I saw that Costco has 3 day park-to-park tickets for $134.99. if you book tickets online ahead of time at universal studios website, 3 day passes for just one park are $139.09 ($10 discount off $149.09 for booking ahead of time right?)

So isn't the costco deal the best deal? What are you all doing about tickets? Purchasing online or there?

Thanks in advance for all your help! I've been reading this forum for months now leading up to our trip and the excitement of it being days away prompted me to join the discussion!:lovestruc

My local Costco did not offer them so I bought mine from the Universal website. We only needed 2 days so I probably wouldn't have bought them at Costco anyways. Oh and by the way we leave tomorrow morning:yay::yay:
