Roll Call! Are you new here? a lurker? Tell us about yourself!

I'm Andy. Primarily a lurker but slowly becoming a poster.
Favorite park: I was a weird kid that I LOVED EPCOT as a kid, and that was clinched when I worked my CP there back in 2011.
Favorite show: Dis Unplugged East Coast. I'm a World guy at heart, but with DW and I doing part of our Disneymoon at Land later this year, it's time to catch up!

I'm Katherine, a long-time lurker slowly getting more into posting.
Favorite park: I'm not good at picking favorites :p I alternate between EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and MK based on my mood. (For the sake of fairness, I will say that Tower of Terror is one of my favorite rides, even though HS is my least favorite park as a whole.)
Favorite show: DisUnplugged.

I'm Shanna.

Favorite park, MK.

Love the DIS Unplugged, but watch others when I have time.

I usually don't post because I do not feel I have anything "new" to add to the conversation. As my tag line says I lurk A LOT! And have to curb my time on the boards or nothing will get done because I will tend to lose track of time will on here.

Dot here, longtime PassPorter boards member and frequent poster who decided it was time to visit another Disney board "country." :) Hiya, everyone.

I must say I'm impressed by how thoughtful many of the threads here are regarding that horrendous alligator attack. That and DIS Unplugged's magnificent discussion of the Pulse shooting.

Favorite park: MK, attraction the Haunted Mansion

Not a huge fan of podcasts so too little experience to form an opinion of those available here.

Hi I'm Alison!
I'm a longtime lurker and very infrequent poster, but I've loved WDW since I was a kid (way back when it was just MK).
My favorite park is MK (can you tell I love the Enchanted Tiki Room?)
I've only just started listening to the podcasts in the last year, but I absolutely love them...Dis Unplugged WDW edition is my favorite!

What is your...

first name?

favorite Disney park?

favorite DIS Unplugged show (if you've watched) - DIS Unplugged, DIS Pop, Universal Edition, DIS Unplugged: Disneyland Edition, etc?

I'm Lisa!
My favorite park is MK of course. Followed by AK, as I love, love, love animals. But if Disney were able to somehow blow air conditioning around AK and bring the temperature down by 10 degrees or so, then it may be my true fav!
My favorite show is still the original. Pete and the crew are awesome. But my second favorite has to be Dis Pop. I'm really loving Ryno's enthusiasm and less structured show. I always laugh and feel good while I'm listening any of the shows, but Dis Pop in particular!

Hi, I'm Pete
I lurk now but was active at one time.
My favorite park is La Cava de Tequila.
My favorite show is the Trip.

Hello my name is Jamie and I am a disboards lurker, but I think that it is time to come out of lurkdom.

My favorite park is Epcot.
My favorite ride is the haunted mansion.
I listen to the Dis Unplugged and have been for a few years. I also love listening to Dis Pop

Hi, I'm Kris!
I'm from CA but I live in Sweden now and travel to the parks every fall. I've been on the forums since maybe 2005 but I guess I mostly lurk. I love all things DisUnplugged. I remember when I'd listen to their voices out of my tiny square ipod thinking that was great and now they're on the big screen tv! (hoping for halograms soon! ;)
I love how there is new content on youtube almost every day now.
My favorite park is MK with AK coming up close.

Post away!!! Your thoughts are as good as anyone else's! I'd love to hear your opinions!

My name is Tara.

I usually lurk, as I agree with @Txshadow that I wouldn't be adding "anything new." Also, sometimes much is read into a post on the internet whether it be tone or underlying meaning and sometimes a "debate" is spawned from something that was just meant to be informational. Lately, however, I have been posting more. "If you can't beat them, join them" perhaps?

My favorite park is DHS even though it is undergoing a transformation! I love its intimate feel and familiarity (of course, that will change some, won't it?). Also, my favorite ride is the Tower of Terror. The first time I rode Tower of Terror was before the randomized drops were added. As I was leaving the ride I stated to my mom, "That was the best ride ever!" The CM who heard me told me that soon I would like it even more because it was going to be randomized to make the ride more intriguing. Well, he was right - one of the things I like most about ToT is the randomness and I love getting the "bonus" ride when you see the elevator passengers instead of the swirling vortex.

I guess I will go with DIS Unplugged since that is the show I watch most often while I am at the gym. I have also enjoyed some of the dining reviews and the Daily Fix. I am looking forward to checking out DIS Pop since I have some time this summer...

Hi, I'm Jenny.
Lurk often, post occasionally. I have been into podcasts in general for many years (my little brother started his first Pixar related podcast in 2010 so he got me into the format), but DisUnplugged has been one of my favorites for a couple of years now. I just discovered these boards dedicated to the podcast :)

Favorite park is without a doubt Magic Kingdom!

HI. My name is Amy. I'm mainly a lurker here. My favorite park is Magic Kingdom. I have watched the podcast for about 3 years now. I really enjoy it. Looking to go to WDW in 2019 for my 20th anniversary.

Hi, I'm Phil

Still relatively new to this forum but post probably more than I should

My favorite park is EPCOT and my favorite show is the classic Orlando show - though I am loving DIS Pop and glad to see I am not the only one based on comments here from others!

I'm Ashley - I'm around here every so often but I do watch the DisUnplugged weekly, and I usually listen to the Dreams Unlimited and Universal shows when I can.

My favorite park is Magic Kingdom with Epcot coming in at a close second.

My favorite podcast is the DisUnplugged Orlando show. Just love the team and they bring lots of joy and entertainment to my week!!

I'm Martha - I lurk more than I post
My favorite park is MK with Epcot and Animal Kingdom coming up close behind.
My favorite podcast is DisUnplugged although I listen to all of the others each week. All of you, posters and team, (as the PP stated) bring lots of joy and entertainment to my week. You also give my family a lot of peace since they are middle of the road Disney people. I can bug and question you instead of them:) while waiting for my next trip!

Hi, I am from the Midwest . I am a big time lurker. I love almost anything Disney and enjoy reading all the new things going on in Disney world. I am a big fan of the " DisUnplugged" podcasts. It would be very hard to say what park I like best because I love them all. :dogdance:

Hi Tammy here, I live in Yellowstone County, Montana (Yellowstone Park is within a days drive as are the Black Hills and some really neat other places like Chief Plenty Coup State Park and Little Big Horn Battlefield along with places like the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, WY.)
I tend to lurk more than post mainly because I have only been on 1 trip to world which was in January 2010 and 2 single day visits to land in December 87 and March 95. I am constantly planning trips out on paper (lately my paper size dry erase board to save a few trees) looking at the flights, would I want to drive (mainly an option for land, but I have been playing around with a fun one for world that would involve some major sight seeing stops along the way that I might have to do when my special needs little girl graduates from speech and occupational therapy and call it an extended field trip) what resort or hotel would I want to stay at, how long, that type of stuff.
I have a number of favorite parks.
Land because I have my first Disney Park memories there.
MK because that is where my special needs girl did her first spontaneous communication when she signed please to Minnie to sign her autograph book at 27.5 months.
Epcot because I love spending time learning new things and I will admit both world showcase and future world are a homeschooling parents dream come true.
Animal Kingdom because of the chance to see animals that we don't get to see normally and again it is very educational.
Disney Hollywood Studios is the one I have been to that is going to take more time to grow on me though I am interested to some day see the new developments.
I love all the shows for various reasons
Dreams Unlimited because it is so informative about so many Disney Travel Options and I have enjoyed getting to know the various agents and some of the support staff in the spotlights plus how Tracey seems to know what John is trying to say when he forgets a word and just says it makes me smile. My favorite shows are the question and answer (DisneyKevin there is so much to do in the Black Hills besides see Mount Rushmore which I remember you mentioning on one of the Q and A shows you wanted to see someday)
World Show because it has so much information and the interactions seem to change depending on who is on week to week. I love hearing Pete's rants when he does them. This tends to be the show that I am able to watch live more often than others and I enjoy the chat.
Universal Show to get my dose of Craigisms which often make me chuckle a bit. While I am not likely to go to Universal as I don't care too much for Harry Potter and I am not a thrill ride person between motion sickness and a bad back I love the dining reviews and even have a few on my list to hopefully check out someday.
Dis Pop I love the more casual out and about format with Ryno and Ollie talking while driving to where they are going. Learning about some of the things that my 11 year old daughter is into that does not involve repeating the words repeating the words repeating the words did I tell you about this yes you did multiple time this week I will still repeat the words repeat the words usually while you are working or driving in a pouring rain high wind storm has been so informative for me. I have a few ideas for Christmas and her birthday coming up that I never would have thought of. I have only been able to listen to part of one of the audio segment shows when a storm knocked out my internet but am really excited to listen to the new one on Finding Dory in the near future.
Daily Fix with the short bit of news, the weather and especially the puns. I have gotten back into the boards more to see what people are saying not just on the days feature thread or articles posted to facebook but other things as well.
Disneyland show as not only Disneyland but so many other places in the Southern California area are covered with some of them being places I have at least been to though it has been a few decades. I am able to listen live quite a bit to this show as well.
The Trip even though it is no longer doing new shows I love watching the interaction the team had and all the adventures to new places.
Free Form Friday because you never know what is going to happen including will the pizza delivery be on time.
Pete's Audio Solo Shows because they remind me so much of listening to an old show growing up that was on the radio where a speaker talked about a number of different things that were on the speakers mind.
The Cooking with Pete or Pete's Kitchen segments because I love how Pete improvised not having 2 kitchenaids and some of his commentary and adjustments her makes.
Not admitting this to my 11 year old daughter but maybe just maybe I am a bit of a Disney Freak/Nut who has found her tribe. I totally didn't buy 2 different Minnie Mouse outfits for my special needs girl today because she needs more Minnie outfits and they were on clearance-who am I kidding yes I did.

Hello, my name is Patrick and I'm a Disneyholic.

I'm mostly a lurker, but will typically post a few times each week. It used to be primarily in the Universal Studios boards, but over the past few years, I've been spending more time on the Disney World boards as I spend more time at the Disney World parks.

Favorite park is EPCOT. I enjoy sampling the food and drink from around the world, especially during the F&W festival.

As for the podcasts, I just discovered them earlier this year. I don't have a favorite, but I watch Dis Unplugged, DU - Universal Edition, and Dis Pop each week on YouTube.

I'm Angel, I've been a member for a while but I tend to read more than I post. My very first trip to WDW was in 2006 for my honeymoon, and I have been hooked ever since.

My favorite park is Magic Kingdom, and my favorite ride is 7DMT because my family and I got to witness the entire "birth" of this ride. The construction walls had just been built during my DD's first trip in December 2011, then in February 2013 the framework was being built for the mine train while we were there. My DD loves to build with Legos and K'nex, so the whole process amazed her. We watched many Imagineering videos after that to learn about the building of other rides ;). The best, though, was our trip in May 2014 when we got to ride during soft openings! We *may* have spent a while sitting outside the ride hoping for a soft opening, but reading the forums here were invaluable to judge timing.

My favorite podcast is the DIS Unplugged WDW edition, but I hear good things about Connecting with Walt so I'm going to give it a try. I love getting my regular fix of WDW in between visits!
