Roll Call! Are you new here? a lurker? Tell us about yourself!

Hi there! My name is Stephanie, and I'm pretty shy but getting over it to chat about Disney!

I've only visited WDW, and out of that resort it fluctuates between MK and EPCOT. Out of all the resorts, though, I have to say that Tokyo DisneySea has a very special place in my heart. I mean, come on, their centerpiece is Mysterious Island!

I love the DIS Unplugged show. I've only seen one episode of DIS Pop, but I loved seeing them go through that Haunted Mansion box! I'll have to check out the rest of the shows.

Hello! :wave2:

Long time member of the DIS community, but a newbie to the podcasts! My name is Emily and I have two little girls (ages in signature).

WDW is definitely my favorite spot. My favorite park is definitely EPCOT.

As for the shows, I just started listening about 6 weeks ago. I love the content! It's definitely my go to when working out or in the car. Keep up the good work, team! :goodvibes

Hello

I feel so relieved seeing all of these posts that admit to lurking as I'm a lurker too.
My favorite park is Epcot; however, I love them all.

DIS Unplugged is my go to podcast. I am really enjoying Dreams Unlimited, too. And I miss The Trip. I've just started the Daily Fix and I need to try Pop / Universal / Disneyland, too.

I'm Angel, I've been a member for a while but I tend to read more than I post. My very first trip to WDW was in 2006 for my honeymoon, and I have been hooked ever since.

My favorite park is Magic Kingdom, and my favorite ride is 7DMT because my family and I got to witness the entire "birth" of this ride. The construction walls had just been built during my DD's first trip in December 2011, then in February 2013 the framework was being built for the mine train while we were there. My DD loves to build with Legos and K'nex, so the whole process amazed her. We watched many Imagineering videos after that to learn about the building of other rides ;). The best, though, was our trip in May 2014 when we got to ride during soft openings! We *may* have spent a while sitting outside the ride hoping for a soft opening, but reading the forums here were invaluable to judge timing.

My favorite podcast is the DIS Unplugged WDW edition, but I hear good things about Connecting with Walt so I'm going to give it a try. I love getting my regular fix of WDW in between visits!

I love the story about your daughter being interested in the construction of the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train .... also made me think they totally should have a Mine Train Lego Set

Hi, I'm Pete
I lurk now but was active at one time.
My favorite park is La Cava de Tequila.
My favorite show is the Trip.
RIP The Trip......

favorite Disney park? That is like asking a parent who their favorite child is. lol I really have different favorites at different times. I did my first CP Program in 1997 in Fantasyland Merchandise. I spent many days at Fantasy Faire. I did my advanced internship 2000 giving the YES Tours. I had tours in 4 parks. I will say that my favorite tour I gave was the 6 hour America's Story in the Magic Kingdom. My favorite firework/ show is Illuminations. I have not been back since 2000. I must have found the DIS around 2011 but forgot and later when I found the podcast show in 2013 started posting on the boards.

favorite DIS Unplugged show (if you've watched) - DIS Unplugged, DIS Pop, Universal Edition, DIS Unplugged: Disneyland Edition, etc? I would have to say The WDW DIS Unplugged. I found the show when I was looking at the resort review shows. I also enjoy Connecting with Walt, DL Show, and those Free Form Friday Shows.

Another bonus with the DIS Unplugged is their support for Give Kids the World. When I did my advanced internship I also was lucky enough to volunteer bi-weekly at the village. I had tried to volunteer during my CP but the sign ups were always full and got my one chance the last week of the program.

I actually went to my first DIS Event last month and watched Finding Dory. The only thing was nobody was chatty which makes perfect sense since it was a movie. lol.

Hello everyone!

Longtime DIS member, shorttime lurker on the DIS Unplugged boards despite being a huge podcast fan and avid listener.

I love all four WDW parks for different reasons. The music, the ambiance, the atmosphere - they are all special in their own way! I love how Disney has connected me to new friends and contributed to so many lasting memories with my family. DH & I are especially obsessed with any running events around the World!

DIS Unplugged is my favorite podcast. I have also been enjoying the Dreams show, which is fueling my desire to book a trip to Aulani...

Hi, I'm Christina! I've technically been on the Disboards for a while but am relatively new to the podcasts. I tend to be more of a lurker than anything, but definitely am trying to jump into more discussions! I live in Wisconsin and travel to Disney parks usually 1-2 times a year. I am a runner and usually enjoy a runDisney event each year.

favorite Disney park? Disneyland! I grew up in Central FL and am a former WDW cast member, but I have to say that when I went to Disneyland for the first time in 2013, I absolutely fell in love!! I reminded me in many ways of the Disney World of my childhood. Being on Walt's Main Street for the first time took my breath away. I love the intimacy of the park and the variety of attractions, old and new. And the FOOD! Don't get me started! *Drools*

favorite DIS Unplugged show (if you've watched) Oooh, tough one. I do listen to them all. Probably a toss-up between the Orlando show and Connecting with Walt. I love the dynamic among the Orlando team, but I love all the nuggets of Disney knowledge I get from Michael's shows! I've also been enjoying many of the Dreams shows, in particular the information I've heard about ABD, Disney cruises, and Aulani, none of which I've gotten to try. Yet.

Hello everyone!

My name is Jon(athan). I've been on the boards for like a year, but I'm not a serial poster. I guess I lurk more than contribute, not sure if I sound interesting in my posts at all!

My favourite park... I'd probably have to say Hollywood Studios, but that's a tough question. I could easily swap that for California Adventure though.

I love the DIS content, but I religiously watch the Dis Unplugged. While I do my ironing, on Sundays. Gosh I sound boring!

Hi, everyone!

I'm Adrienne and I've finally decided to come out of lurking to say hello. Besides browsing around on here, I spend a lot of my time on the boards reading dining reviews and following the runDisney forums. I guess those two extremes sum me up pretty well, though!

My favorite park is Magic Kingdom, for sure.

My favorite show is The DIS Unplugged.

Thanks for the opportunity to say hey on here.

Hello! I've been on the Dis for 10 years and listen regularly to the Podcasts, just haven't posted in this forum very often! Joined DVC in 2007 and try to go twice a year! Love the Beach Club! Hope to attend a podcast event sometime in the future! Would love to meet Pete!

Joining in :)
I'm Astrid. I joined DIS in 2014 because I planned to go to WDW in 2015, but that trip had to be cancelled :( I just came back to the boards recently because I'm going to make my dream come true this year :yay:
Favorite park: DisneySea (I've only been to Disney parks outside US). I adore the theming and attractions in that park.
I'm not much of a podcast person, so I can't tell which 1 is my favorite show.

Hi! I'm Elizabeth. I've been a Disney fanatic my entire life and have been on the DISboards since 2010. But I just started listening to the DIS Unplugged about two months ago. I can't believe I never discovered it until now!

My favorite Disney park is the Magic Kingdom.

I've only listened to the DIS Unplugged so far, but I have downloaded a few episodes of DIS Pop and they're in my podcast queue.
