Roll Away Beds at Disney Resorts?

A cast member just told me on the phone that roll away beds are not offered at any Disney resorts.

It's true. People who want an extra bed often brig an air mattress that they lean against the wall during the day.

That's not true. We got one in 2010 at the BC.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and got a rollaway bed at both Coronado Springs and Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House. You have to pay extra each day you have one.

I don't know if its is true, but what IS true is that any cm you get on the phone is in a call center that is probably not in Florida, and the cm might never have stepped foot on wdw property let alone stayed at a resort.

Roll-away beds are in very limited quantities at some resorts, however, you cannot request one to go over the occupancy limit in your room.

They do not allow roll-aways in villas. Only in regular rooms and even then the supply is very limited. And you cannot book them ahead of time. The CM you spoke with was correct.

I believe it may depend on the resort. They don't do it at values (where would you put it... No room)

Had a cot at pop century May 2012. We just moved the tables and chairs

I think you need to call it a cot instead of a roll away bed. I've gotten one for my son at POR and POP, POP as recently as Nov. We moved the table and chair and put it in the corner, he was comfortable on it and my dad got a bed to himself!

I think it was 10$/night.

None of the DVC villas have roll always available.
That information is in writing in the DVC member information.

No roll-aways are allowed in rooms with microwaves, i.e. villas. This is a fire hazzard as the roll-away may impede an egress from the room in the case of a fire.
