I don't know if its is true, but what IS true is that any cm you get on the phone is in a call center that is probably not in Florida, and the cm might never have stepped foot on wdw property let alone stayed at a resort.

They do not allow roll-aways in villas. Only in regular rooms and even then the supply is very limited. And you cannot book them ahead of time. The CM you spoke with was correct.
I think you need to call it a cot instead of a roll away bed. I've gotten one for my son at POR and POP, POP as recently as Nov. We moved the table and chair and put it in the corner, he was comfortable on it and my dad got a bed to himself!
No roll-aways are allowed in rooms with microwaves, i.e. villas. This is a fire hazzard as the roll-away may impede an egress from the room in the case of a fire.
