How easy/hard is it to see ROL without a fast pass? Planning on seeing it this week with my group of 10. We currently hold fast passes for it, but, was thinking of canceling them and using them for a different ride like EE, and then seeing ROL without the fast pass....

I don't think it would be an issue, especially during the week.

Idk how it is now that Pandora is open..but when we saw it prior to Pandora being open, the standby area was nearly full 60 min prior to the show.

A group of 10, I'd either arrive 60+ min before showtime..or see the second showing if their showing it two times on the night you're there

We went in mid - late March (spring break) and the night we went the FP section looked pretty full, but we went into the stand by section at the last minute right before the show started and it was at least half empty.

Hmmmm....was hoping there would be someone who is there now or in the past week that could comment....
I'm thinking we may just do the second showing, standby though.....

We were there recently. No way would we try SB! Was bad enough with FP. The lines for SB were 'very' long (way early) and was cut off when full.

It's a hit or miss. I have seen many standby seats empty as the shows started but I have also seen them being full way in advance.

We were there last week and I got us a last minute fastpass for the 2nd show. The standby section didn't look full at all. I think the second show is a better bet if you can swing it.

I also truly couldn't decide whether I should keep my group's FastPass for this show. I've heard that some people love it and others do not. I usually prefer to book FP+ during the peak afternoon, so that there is the opportunity for additional same-day FP+ after using the first three. Based on the posts here, I might cancel it and take a chance on standby.

You could do the ROL dining package, if there is any reservations open. It may be hard to get a reservation for 10 people and expensive.

It's a gamble.. 50% of the seats are for fastpass. 20ish% of the seats are dining package and the last 30% are for standby.. it just isn't a large amount of seating and you could easily wait hours and not get a seat...

A you can't get in any other way great plan Z is sit lakeside at flametree BBQ. there is 2 seatting sections next to the lake, the one closest to the flame tree bbq building itself has better audio. The other you just hear the audio from that side.
