Rogers MasterCard Changes

For anyone that has the Rogers MasterCard which has no foreign exchange fees... I just saw on my latest statement they are adding it starting mid October. Guess it will be time to cancel that card.
 
Ugh this makes me glad I didn't sign up for it as I was really considering it for that reason.
 

I have not read all the fine print, but interestingly enough, Rogers now has a Platinum MasterCard that gives you 4% cash back rewards on any foreign currency transactions. They still charge 2.5% to convert foreign currency transactions - so you would net 1.5% on US transactions. The annual fee for the card is $29.

I think we need to see that fine print, because I refuse to believe Rogers (or Bell, or Shaw for that matter) offers anything without having some sort of house advantage on us. Even if it's a branded credit card.
