I've heard this can be a nauseating ride. I felt so bad I didnt' take my son on the teacups last year because things like that make me so sick. Every time we'd walk past them he'd beg to go. Is Roger Rabbit just as bad? Is it easy to make your teacup actually "not" spin or should I just play it safe and not do it?

I have the motion sickness problem as well. I have never had a problem on Roger's Cartoon spin and I already know that teacups are not in my future to ride because of the spinning motion:eek: . I have used an OTC med called Dramamine quite a few times when visiting theme parks and it really really helps with the motion sickness.

You have the option of not spinning your car at all. It still goes through twists and turns, but it's not bad at all. I rode with my sister-in-law and she spun the *#@% out of us and I was still fine (I never do the teacups). My mother rode by herself and didn't spin once. :rotfl: Take your son and have fun! If you're still nervous, go the Dramamine route. :thumbsup2

This is actually a ride I can handle, and I don't do well on spinning rides! I think a lot of the spinning depends on you. It won't really spin if you keep the car steady (takes a little arm muscle but I can do!). There was one time we were facing the wrong direction during the ride before I figured out you needed to keep it steady. LOL But it's really not that bad!

I say go for it. It's possible to not spin it and it's just as fun when you aren't spinning. Plus just going through the que line is an attraction.

My mom gets really sick on spinny rides but she was really good on this one. She didnt feel sick after the ride at all.

My son (2.5yo) did NOT like this ride at all, because in addition to the spinning, it's pretty jerky. I don't think he felt sick at all, I think it just scared him a bit.
