Rocky Mount, NC exit info

Does anyone have any experience with stopping at the Rocky Mount exit of I95? Looking for hotels and restaurant info. Thanks for the help.

I would look for another stop over . . . stopped there once and had a horrible experience with a major chain, inexpensive motel (the number after 7). I checked out after about two hours and then looked for another hotel. While the second place was better, it was nothing to get me back in that area again. At least the first place refunded my money.

Tha Hampton Inn at Rocky Mount is nice--clean and quiet with a nice free breakfast. We've stayed there a couple times and wouldn't hestitate to do so again.

Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn are both nice. Do not stay at the Holiday Inn. It is horrible. There is an Outback Steakhouse nearby.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn (the one on Gateway Blvd) in May. It was nice, would stay there again if we were traveling. Outback is right next door (across the parking lot).

The other hotels next to it on Gateway Blvd looked good too, I think there was a Courtyard and a Residence Inn.

Try this website, it is awesome I downloaded the e-book before our trip a few weeks ago and it was well worth the $6.
