Rocking Chairs For Front Porch

Where can I get reasonably priced quality rocking chairs for my front porch.

What kind of budget? Cracker Barrel sells them but I don't know what you consider reasonably priced.

One thing I can tell you is don't buy the lower priced wicker style chairs. They fall apart.

Not sure where your at but I found my at Kroger, our grocery store. They were an end of summer special and got them for $50 each. They are solid wood and have worked out great!!! Check your grocery store.

I love the Cracker Barrel chairs, but the rating are really bad online.

I don't have a Kroger near me, but I wonder if they sell them online....

LOWES
LOWES had some really nice wooden porch rockers - can't remember the name but they are slat-backed . I chose white and have had them on porch for two seasons and they do truly look still-new . I love my rockers - very comfortable and also a bit higher so easier for me to get up out of. I call them my" Kennedy" rockers because they remind me of JFK's White House rockers . In fact , after my brother had emergency back surgery this past Christmas , I lent him one for recuperation. He agreed and almost didn't give it back . Also , I might add , the rocker looked good in his newly- added family room -LOL !

Just looked 'em up - Lowes Garden Treasure Outdoor Rocking Chairs ... $99.
Probably out of stock for the season , but the spring stuff will be out before you know it...

Our local home depot currently has rocking chairs on clearance.

Well I see I am a little late to tell you that I too have seen them at Cracker Barrel and Home Depot. I am assuming this is an enclosed or at least roofed area? These were wood, not plastic, so could suffer from the elements.

How about any local festivals around your area? Here in North Fla we have a festival right before Thanksgiving (Mule Day ) where they sell handcrafted furniture. We bought a hope chest & ordered a large dining room table w/chairs and the quality was very good. Obviously quality will depend on the vendor.

Are you in Tallahassee? I live there too! We go to Mule Day (and Rattlesnake Roundup, Swine Time and other fun festivals). There are always some good crafts people at those things. Sometimes we see a guy with a pick up truck full of rockers set up at a gas station.

Just wanted to say that I am in love with the rocking chairs I bought from Lowe's. They were right at $110 each!! You guys are awesome!
