I have been watching the wait time of both and it seems that RNC has the longer waits the past few dates. Considering switching my fast pass to RNC. Anyone having similar thoughts?

I would keep TSM and look for a 4th FP for RnR when you've used your third. We did TSM, ST, and ToT by 2:30. At 3:30 we went to the 4:00 BatB show. While waiting for the show I booked RnR FP for three at 6:35, and then kept checking. I moved it up to 4:55 then 4:30 before the show started. When we walked out of the show we headed straight to RnR and rode. If that fails there is still the single rider option.

Was there on Sunday FP+ was used on Toy Story. I was able to get 4th & 5th sets of FP+ for RNR mid afternoon. FWIW, on Wednesday we were at AK and as we were leaving the park around 5 I did a search for available FP+ at HS and was able to get one for Toy Story from 7:30-8:30.

Or you could hit RNRC first thing at RD before the line builds.

Yep. We did that on the DHS day we weren't signing up for JTA. Waited about five minutes to get to the recording studio, and we didn't walk fast at all in getting to the ride.

We're splitting up to do this on our next trip. Since I'm chicken, I'll take DGS to sign up for JTA while the others lose their breakfasts on RNRC. Then meet up for ToT.

Agree. RnR can be done first thing without any problem at all. A similar wait time at TSMM requires that you have your belly up against the turnstile at RD. Also, RnR has a single rider line that can be used in a pinch. And finally, as others have noted, getting a 4th FP for RnR is not unheard of. Getting one for TSMM requires extreme luck or Papal dispensation.

At this moment Rockin Roller Coaster has a 100 minute wait and Toy Stoy Mania has a 300 minute wait. :scared:

Friday night of a holiday weekend or not, I have a difficult time believing the wait for Toy Story is 5 hours. At a guess, a system glitch or a time card that was handed out hours ago, lost, found, and scanned is the cause of that number.

I'd keep the Toy Story FP and do RnR either first thing in the morning or using the single rider line or see if you can score a 4+ FP for it.

On another thread it's reported that TSMM was down earlier in the evening for a while...

OP - we have had great luck rope dropping RNR. In April - crowd level 6/7 day, we actually rode it twice in a row after doing JTA signups (we were near the front of the JTA line) - both times practically walking into the recording studio without stopping.

Not sure when you will be there - but I can't imagine that you couldn't rope drop it with less than a 20 minute wait! That early time when no one is using their FP is great!
