rockband/guitar hero UPDATED w/compatability list inluding Wii. Will work!!!!

can you interchange these? Can I get guitar hero world tour and use the beatles rockband and lego rockband?

The games are interchangable if they are all rock band. For example if you have the entire Beatles rock band set then you can use another rock band game with the same instruments. But you can not use a guitar hero game even if it is the world tour. Although they are similar they will not work.
Its like having an xbox and trying to play playstation games on it. You can only play xbox games on an xbox or playstation on playstation. So rockband games for rockband equiptment

I was in the same predicament. I talked to several different people at different Gamestops. They said for the XBOX 360 and PS3 they are interchangeable, but not for the Wii.

we have the Wii, that probably why so many people are confused because some are some arent depending on game console

Oh thank you for posting the link. I found and bought Guitar Hero World tour w/guitar for a steal at CVS (I paid $20 after $30 in ECB) for my oldest and my middle one wants Lego Rock Band, and I was thinking about it, but didn't want to buy it if the guitars weren't compatible. This means the kids are getting both.
