Rock On!! Because Devil Horns Do Belong at Disney. An Oct TR Updated 9/5 x10!

Continued from Previous Post (Don't miss part one on the previous page)

In the last room, the right side with the fish tank was all curtained off.

I was on a Hidden Mickey roll.

After fulfilling Jim’s wildest dream of seeing his chickens again, we headed out of the Land and onto another adventure which included Chipmunks! We hadn’t visited with Chip and Dale yet and the line was not bad so we hopped in. There was no PP photographer but the handler was taking pictures for everyone. But just before we got to the front, one of the Chipmunks broke a little kid’s pen and the handler took the family over to the nearest store to get them a new pen. Luckily the family behind us was kind enough to take some pictures.

Next we headed towards Spaceship Earth since it was closed the first day. But we got side tracked at the Pin store because they had their pin board out. I didn’t find anything to trade for but Jim got a couple. I don’t have pictures though so I have no idea what they were. While we were looking the CM told us that Mouse Gears would be putting their big board out at 1 pm. Well it was 12:55 at that point so you know where we headed.

I decided to take one more look for the T-shirt I had wanted and yay they had restocked overnight and I finally got it. So what was this shirt that I “had” to have?

Eat, Sleep, Disney totally describes my life! I’m not sure why I didn’t grab it the first time Jim pointed it out to me at DTD. I also picked up a car decal. I bought this one November 2012 but Jim did not read the directions when he put it on my car and it didn’t last very long. This time I put it on my car instead of him!

We checked out the pin board but I don’t think either of us traded and then we finally headed towards SE.

Great pictures!
The tee shirt is PERFECT!!! I am so glad you got it!!!
OHHHHHHHHHH the food does look delish!!!

So glad the chickens were still in there respected spots. Thankfully they nailed the suckers down!!! they "scramble" :rotfl2:

Glad Jim enjoyed seeing Living with the Land again... and the chickens :rotfl2:

Yay Chip & Dale! I'm not sure why I find it funny that one of them broke a pen haha

Love the shirt you bought!

I missed an update...sorry.

Love your pictures walking through Nemo.

I'm a bit confused though. The manatees that Mark and I always go to see are upstairs. They have some downstairs too?

I'm glad you got on the Land (and great pics there too) and that Jim was happy his chickens were still there.

Score on finding your t-shirt. :thumbsup2

Fantastic update. I love your food porn from Sunshine Seasons and the pictures of the produce at the LwtL.

Great t-shirt. I think if I'd seen that, it would have come home with me as well.

Glad that you had a nice family behind you to take pictures of you with C&D.

Caught up! I love your Eat, Sleep, Disney shirt! It is probably very fitting for many of us on the DIS lol

I love that every trip to Disney is so unique. I just read your other report that had pictures form Living With the Land and even though its the same ride, the photos are different. Just like you said about MNSSHP - you can't get it all in so you have to keep going back!

Thanks! I love that T-shirt, so glad for warm weather again so I can wear it. The food at Sunshine Seasons is delish!

Yep, got to keep them nailed in place so they don't get away! :rotfl:

Glad Jim enjoyed seeing Living with the Land again... and the chickens :rotfl2:

He really did!

Yay Chip & Dale! I'm not sure why I find it funny that one of them broke a pen haha

Well they are mischievous little buggers!

Love the shirt you bought!

Thanks, I like it a lot too!

I missed an update...sorry.

No worries, I'm at least a week behind on yours right now.

Love your pictures walking through Nemo.

Thanks! I was happy with the new camera once again.

I'm a bit confused though. The manatees that Mark and I always go to see are upstairs. They have some downstairs too?

They are actual both up and down. Upstairs you can look down into the water at them. And then downstairs you can watch them underwater. I did notice the area upstairs closed off but forgot to take a picture till we got downstairs.

I'm glad you got on the Land (and great pics there too) and that Jim was happy his chickens were still there.

I love the Land ride! We'll get to visit them again in a few weeks because we are eating at Garden Grill.

Score on finding your t-shirt. :thumbsup2

I was so glad I finally found it!

Fantastic update. I love your food porn from Sunshine Seasons and the pictures of the produce at the LwtL.

Thanks, that food was very good!

Great t-shirt. I think if I'd seen that, it would have come home with me as well.

I think that shirt is pretty appropriate for most people on the DIS.

Glad that you had a nice family behind you to take pictures of you with C&D.

I was too, it would have been a bummer if we didn't get any pictures of the greet.

Caught up! I love your Eat, Sleep, Disney shirt! It is probably very fitting for many of us on the DIS lol

Yep, definitely fitting!

I love that every trip to Disney is so unique. I just read your other report that had pictures form Living With the Land and even though its the same ride, the photos are different. Just like you said about MNSSHP - you can't get it all in so you have to keep going back!

Yeah, I realize I was writing the same thing in both reports, too funny!

I apologize for being MIA for so long. Things at work have been crazy! I'm still hoping to finish this one before we leave in 18 days but it might be close. I think I have 4 or 5 updates yet to go. So, on with the show.....

We finally made it to Spaceship Earth and the wait time was 15 minutes.

I really don’t think we waited that long and I amused myself with pictures.

I was of course still experimenting with my new camera and I went absolutely nuts with pictures on this ride.

I think I take this next picture every time I ride.

I let Jim do the picking for our future since I had done it so many times before. Disney definitely had Jim figured out by this point because it gave him his very own Devil Horn! Not sure what happened to the other one.

We got a huge laugh out of that one!

Since we hadn’t planned on getting to Epcot till later in the afternoon, our first FP+ for Test Track was not until 3:05 pm. When we finished up on SE we still had an hour and ½ till we could use it. I didn’t want to head back in the countries since we would just have to turn around and come back for TT. Jim was not missing a second ride on that one. I’m not sure why it didn’t occur to me to try and change it to an earlier time, guess I wasn’t used to the whole FP+ system at that point. So, what to do in Future World to kill some time?

I hope things calm down at work for you soon :)

I love SE, such a classic. You got some good photos with your new camera too, which is always great!

great pictures!!

Your Future is a hysterical!!!! i was laughing all by myself in my office!!! :rotfl2::lmao:

Hi Ariana! Sorry I've fallen so far behind.

I love the "eat, sleep, Disney" shirt - yup, that would be very fitting for me too! LOL I'd love to make that for myself and put it on a tank top, using Terri's bleach method. If I could figure out how to do it. LOL

I have that same monorail decal on my car... It makes me chuckle every time I see it - seeing as I always have the WORST monorail problems. LOL

And hahahaha on Jim's devil horn!!! That couldn't have been more perfect!!!! ROFL! Both of the girls and I hate that backwards/steep drop on SSE, therefore - even though it's a classic ride, we hate riding it. Literally - the girls get off with tears streaming down their faces - it's not a good ride for us... And ordinarily we love thrill rides - so...

Your next trip is getting so close... So jealous!!!

D~

Love your future pics on Spaceship Earth! :thumbsup2

Thanks, we got a good laugh out of them!

Fun pictures on Spaceship Earth.

I love the one-horned Devil Jim! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I thought I was going to die laughing when I saw the picture!

I hope things calm down at work for you soon :)

Not yet, but I'm hoping it will by the end of April. I need a small break today so I'm going to update this real quick.

I love SE, such a classic. You got some good photos with your new camera too, which is always great!

I've been so impressed with my new camera especially since it's just a point and shoot.

Great updates!!! Love the epcot stuff!!

Thanks!

great pictures!!

Your Future is a hysterical!!!! i was laughing all by myself in my office!!! :rotfl2::lmao:

You should have heard Jim and I laughing during the ride! the people around us probably thought we were nuts.

Awesome ride with the Devil's Horn. :lmao:

I know, how appropriate was that?

The one devil horn cracks me up! :rotfl2:

Great Epcot day!

It definitely made us laugh too!

Hi Ariana! Sorry I've fallen so far behind.

No worries, I'm weeks behind on everyone else's threads right now. Just trying to sneak a few updates on this one so I can finish it.

I love the "eat, sleep, Disney" shirt - yup, that would be very fitting for me too! LOL I'd love to make that for myself and put it on a tank top, using Terri's bleach method. If I could figure out how to do it. LOL

I bet you could figure it out!

I have that same monorail decal on my car... It makes me chuckle every time I see it - seeing as I always have the WORST monorail problems. LOL

I know you have that one. I saw it in your TR and decided I needed one myself. That's why I bought it!

The backwards part doesn't bother me at all. I love the lights as you go down. I wonder why some people find it scary?

Your next trip is getting so close... So jealous!!!

15 days! I need to start packing this weekend!

Since Jim was loving the Character meets so much, I decided to give the Disney Visa Spot another try. If you have a Disney Visa, there is a special meet and greet in Innovations. I can never remember which side is East and which is West but it’s in the side towards the Land. I had done the greet with Mom in 2012 and we were kind of disappointed because they hurried us through even though there wasn’t a line and the PP photographer only took 5 shots.

There was a bit of a line this time probably because it was right around the time the greet opened which was 1:30 pm but we had time so we got in line. I don’t think we waited more than 15 minutes before we were entering the room. The character(s) that you get is totally random but is usually one or two of the fab five. Mom and I got just Mickey Mouse although it seems like most people get two characters. I was hoping for Pluto since I’d only seen him once this week. I have no idea at this point why we didn’t just head out to the front and get in line for Pluto’s greet. It turned out that we got Mickey and Goofy. If you are keeping count, that’s the fourth time we had done a meet with Goofy on this trip!

It turned out pretty cute. Mickey was terrified of Jim’s shirt and wouldn’t go near him. We got hugs and then pictures. This PP took even fewer photos then when Mom and I went.

Yep, a grand total of two pictures. I’m not sure if I will do this greet again unless there is no line. Maybe it’s better when there are kids involved. You also get a free 5 x 7 photo so after we finished, we headed to the photo shop next to SE to pick up our picture.

We also spent some time looking at the other PP pictures on our account while the CM printed the photo for us.

And then it was still only 2:20 pm. I don’t think I’ve ever had this kind of time to waste in Epcot before. But there is one ride that will use up about 45 minutes. Any guesses? Yep, we went on Ellen’s Energy Adventure.

The ride was so empty that we had a whole row to ourselves. I told Jim he could lay down and take a nap if he wanted but he said the seats weren’t comfortable enough. I only took pictures during the Dinosaur part.

When we got off of EEA, it was finally time for our TT FP+. We sure needed the ride at this point to wake ourselves up.

The CM put us both on the same console this time and I let Jim do all the designing. He decided to go for as gaudy as possible and here is the result.

His design wasn’t very efficient but I think he was going more for power anyway.

Jim managed to finally figure out the camera and do a pose on this one. And what else would he do other than devil horns? I know I was doing something but missed the camera again and ended up with the “Cousin Itt” look.

Jim needed to pose with his car again. Here’s my pictures.

And the ones that were e-mailed to him.

Finally finished with Future World, it was time to head back into the countries and face the Friday evening Food and Wine crowds.

Up Next: Where in the World is Donald?

I'm with Mickey. I think I would've been scared of Jim's shirt too! Hahaha.

The tradition of taking pictures after TT is too funny. Guys. :lmao:
