The Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame announced it's "Class of 2003" inductees Thursday (November 7).

The Righteous Brothers, AC/DC, Elvis Costello, the Clash and the Police will be the performers inducted March 10 in a ceremony in New York. Sidemen and influences will be announced later. Even more interesting are the finalists not chosen: The Dells, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ABBA, Steve Winwood, Chic, Black Sabbath, Kraftwerk, the Sex Pistols, Patti Smith and the MC5.

YAY!!!!!

I knew that would make you happy JTB!!

It's about time The Righteous Brothers made the H of F. DW and I have seen them several times and they still put on a great show, for two 62 year old guys. Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield had great hits in the sixties and early 70's. "Unchained Melody", "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'", "(You're My) Soul and Inspiration", "Rock and Roll Heaven", "Little Latin Lupe Lu" etc. They were christened "blue eyed soul". Bill Medley did a duet with Jennifer Warnes, "The Time of My Life" in 1987, it was an Oscar-winning theme, from the movie Dirty Dancing.

"Unchained Melody" for the second time, became a big hit, when it was featured in the movie "Ghost".
