I have a trip planned for Feb 2-9, 2002 and the lst thing I need to arrange is the flights. I have been checking airfares out of Rochester, NY for a couple of months and they have not changed much, around $200-230 per person round trip. I noticed that Airtran out of Buffalo is considerably cheaper and it is only about 1/2 hour drive longer to Buffalo. Does anyone have any experience with Airtran or is it worth the extra $250 total difference for three people to fly out of Rochester.

Thanks for any info.

USAir flights went down in price sometime over the weekend for around that time...about $190 now for some flights.

tsba, don't forget to add in the travel time to Buffalo, parking, and the very real possibility of a weather delay that time of year. With that said, we have driven to Buffalo several times and have gotten significantly cheaper air faries(mostly JetBlue and Usair). Also if it is an early flight, you may want to consider staying over the nite before. It is amazing the price difference between Buffalo and Rochester!

serve sound?

2001, ONLY.

Travel is valid on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday
