Robin Hood?!

We are planning our WDW trip for September of this year! I have a 2 1/2 year old that is on love with Robin Hood! I have read that WDW has been having some of the "lost" older characters in the parks. When we were there in November we saw Marie (Aristocats). I was just wondering if anyone has seen the Robin Hood characters recently? Or has any information on this! Thanks!!!

They were a part of limited time magic and were out two days last year but that's been in. Marie is out every day.

Not likely to see them anywhere.

That's nostalgia...I used to see King John all the time. And sometimes the Sheriff of Nottingham and Friar Tuck. Now I don't see that they come out at all except during special events. Don't know about MNSSHP specifically but they might have the Sheriff and/or John with the villains. Sorry, probably nobody cuddlier for a 2 year old.

I can't you with the characters, but your son has great taste! Robin Hood is on my all time Disney Top 10!

Here's go hoping maybe at the MNSSHP!!!! I may get back on and post the week before we go! Anyone with upcoming trips please keep your eyes open!!! We would absolutely love the see any of them! Sheriff, Friar Tuck...anyone related to Robin Hood!!!

I recently ran across my 1976 autographs from Prince John and the Sheriff. Love that movie and those characters and definitely wish they would make a longer-term comeback than just a couple of days!

Wow! That is awesome! I know! Same here. There are a ton of characters I would love to see more of. Does anyone know some of the more "less seen" or "not out as much characters" that make appearances at MNSSHP? This will be our 2nd time to go but, last time was 5 years ago. I really don't remember all that much from that trip.

Robin Hood has always been my favorite! It's been a while but we saw Friar Tuck in Magic Kingdom & Robin Hood in MGM/Hollywood Studios (I still call it MGM)

Ok, this is sort of random. But, I remember signing parties. Or something to that affect when we used to go and I was little (I am 27 now). So, we are talking like 15-20 years ago. Do, they do anything similar to that in any of the parks now? We went last year but, my little boy was a little younger and not all about the characters. I just wasn't sure if this was something Disney World still put on?

We met Robin Hood and Friar Tuck last summer much to our surprise in Epcot, not far from Club Cool.
