My wife and I splurged for our combination Valentine's Day and Anniversary, our Valentinniversary (they're only 12 days apart), and bought ourselves a Silhouette Cameo electronic cutter.

It's the best! It's inspired us and allowed us to become more crafty in order to express our obsession with WDW.

This thread will allow us to share our creations with other like-minded people. Maybe we can learn from others and give others ideas for their crafts.

We're not doing requests our commissions at this time, but maybe in the future who knows?

Constructive feedback is always welcome!

Thanks for looking and participating!

Our first real DISign that we feel we could share is a "Birthday Girl" shirt for our 4 year old who will turn 5 on February 28. She'll wear it at preschool on Thursday and at her party at Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday.

We used the Silhouette Cameo to cut the designs out of Tulip Glitter Iron-on Transfers and put them on a shirt from Walmart.

We made this shirt a couple of hours ago. Yes, we spent the night of our anniversary making a Disney shirt. We live a wild life!

Our next design was done by janelc and our two daughters around the first weekend in February.

This is a Mickey design on a Walmart shirt using contact paper for a reverse stencil.

The Mickey heads were made using a paper punch that has the Mickey head design for the small shapes, and a template janelc made for the large Mickey head.

Then paint was sponged over it. Once dry, the contact paper was removed.

This apron was purchased from Michael's.

Janelc and the girls made it the same weekend as the yellow shirt above.

It was made using the same Mickey head paper punch and the large Mickey head template to cut reverse stencils out of contact paper, then sponging paint over it.

Wow, your shirts and apron are absolutely amazing!!!

I have been considering this purchase myself but haven't made the plunge yet. May I ask how difficult it is to use? Did you just start right into it or watch any videos etc on-line?

Thanks!

We watched a few YouTube videos, but we mostly just jumped into it. We are loving the creativity and freedom that the Silhouette Cameo offers. Thanks for the nice comments.

Awesome, thank you! I have just started watching a few but I am just blown away by your designs, they are amazing (and inspiring!!!).

Here's a design Jane did this morning for the five year old's t-ball helmet. She concepted, cut it out, and I applied it.

Here's a photo of the pressed penny bracelet janelc and I made for our oldest daughter.

We also made one for the youngest.

During our recent trip, the kids and janelc collected the pressed pennies they wanted to represent our trip and we just assembled them onto a copper chain to make souvenir bracelets. A bit noisy, but nice.

Love the bracelet - I'd like to try this with our pressed pennies. Where did you all find the supplies to make it?

30" copper necklace, clasps and copper rings all from Hobby Lobby. Cut length of necklace to make bracelet. Drill 1/16" hole in end of penny and use rings to connect pennies to chain. Attach clasp to each end of chain.
