We are staying at WL and I want the best info on Roaring Forks for meals and snacks. Do you think the mug is worth the $.

Thanks!

I've never found those mugs to be worth it. This isn't unique to Roaring Fork either. The mugs just don't really hold that much so to really make it pay off you have to make multiple trips during the day. After a while it gets old.

We didn't do the mug, but I enjoyed Roaring Forks at lunchtime. They have a great little sandwich bar and you can also get chicken sandwiches or cheeseburgers. They also have great snacks/desserts (HUGE frosted brownies...yum!!) and lots of healthy options like fruit cups and small salads. We ate there a couple times last week and it's very clean and was always quiet.

We really enjoyed RF! It is not a food court (I think lots of people go there expecting a big food court similar to values or mods, but none of the deluxes have such a thing). For a smallish CS establishment, it is very nice. We ate breakfast and lunch there several times, tried different things and shared lots, and we thought everything we tasted was fresh and delicious.

As for the mugs, they were well worth it for our family, but we stayed 8 days and spent lots of time around the resort. If you drink soda, lemonade, iced tea, coffee, you can fill up those things several times a day, as many times as you want, and it adds up. Plus the mug itself makes a nice souvenir. For what they charge for an individual drink, it doesn't take long to make it "worth it."

We liked roaring forks also, it's a great little place to grab something quick when you're tired and just want to get back to your room and rest. The food is pretty good.

I have no complaints with Roaring Forks. As others have said, it is a bit small but I had no problems grabbing a seat. The food is pretty good and there is an excellent assortment of options on the menu.

I think the mug is worth it if you drink a lot of soda or coffee. I find Roaring Forks too small for the busy times of day. I also thought they had a very limited menu.

We had lunch at RF one day and it was OK - not a large menu but decent. We had breakfast there every morning. And I drank lots of coffee! We are not big breakfast eaters so the option of having just a muffin or bagel works out great for us.

The mugs are worth it for us. My husband still smokes so in the mornings since he is up first, he gets ready and heads out to the smoking area. Then he goes and gets coffee for both of us and returns to the room. After I've had my first cup, I get ready and we head back to the quick service. While my daughter gets ready, we eat and have more coffee. Then a third cup while she eats! So we definitely get our money's worth even if we never have a soda.
