That's what a cm told me 2 weeks ago at RnRC. ;) I figured for the heck of it I'd ask a cm if RnRC would always be Aerosmith themed and she told my that in their contract it states that when one of the members of the band passes away the ride will close for a day and then the theme will change...kind of morbid I thought!:confused3
So is this new news? I wasn't sure so I figured I'd post it here!

It should be pretty easy for Disney to convert the attraction to something else, or even generic...just remove a few signs, and they could theoretically even remove the preshow. I'm sure changing the music would be very simple.

They could change the whole pavilion in 3 days I bet.

Joke's on the CM. Joe Perry passed away and was replaced by an audioanimatronic zombie in '79.

Well, if what the OP said is correct, Steve Tyler is doing his best to cash in on that deal. As people may be aware, he took another fall the other day and as the photo below taken afterwards shows didn't come away looking any better for the experience. If he keeps up the stumbling it's only a matter of time before that memorial shutdown occurs.

On the bright side, he won't need to worry about a costume for halloween, he can just show up as himself :lmao:

Honestly, it'd be cool as a "Get away gangster" coaster, but I hope they keep Aerosmith forever and ever.

They should update the Aerosmith video. I know it wont happen. But they should

I hear the coaster is going to be replaced with the all new AEROSMITH SLIP & SLIDE featuring Steven Tyler.

my simple answer to this is.

With the lives that Aerosmith have, it would have been a risk even opening the attraction with their name on it if this were the case. Heck Id have had concerns about the thing even being completed before something happened.

Never heard of this before. The likelyhood is that is not true. I mean, they'd have to get rid of/change the music, countdown, show in the gift shop, pre show, posters, merchandise, the giant guitar in front of the building, etc. and they'd need a lot longer than 1 day to do that.
