For the best ride on RnR, do NOT sit in the front cars. This ride accelerates so fast that your eyes do not have time to adjust to the initial strobe lights. DH always gets a terrible headache if we sit in the front car, so we always opt to sit in the last car or two, even if we have to wait. You'll get a much better ride from the rear cars as your eyes have that extra split second (and I DO mean split second!) before entrance into the ride.

I've ridden this many times as it's my fav ride at WDW. This past weekend we rode 3 times, each in a different part. First was the middle which was good. Second was the very front and I loved it. Very smooth and you get to see everything with no heads in the way. My eyes always teared up due to the speed and nothing to block it. The last ride was in the last car and it's the first time I've EVER gotten a headache on that ride. Very bumpy/jerky!!!!

But everyone is different so I'd say try it for yourself and decide which is the best for you!!!! :teeth:

I have to disagree. The back cars are very rough, came off with a headache. The front cars are much smoother. I wait for the front (not necessarily the very front, just near the front) otherwise I won't have a pleasent ride.

Yeah, what she said. The back cars make for a very rough ride. I prefer the middle cars myself.

Thought it was just me who found the ride in the back bumpy.

I rode as a single in one of the back cars when we were there last year. DH not a coaster fan like me. I loved the look, but it was the first time ever on a coaster I had my head bounced around. I thought it was because I am getting older.

Will try to get towards a middle or forward car next time and try it. I wasn't going to ride it this year because it was so rough.

My husband and I made a point of riding front, middle and back over Labor Day Weekend as an experiment. The back gave me a terrible headache. The very front was our favorite. It doesn't slam your head from side to side.

another vote for the front rows! Awesome, smooth ride.

Did you know that they play different Aerosmith songs depending on where you sit? I like the front row choices best.

Also, makes for a better picture experience!

Yeah, the back will jerk you around alot more, but I prefer sitting up front, like I'm all by myself on that awesome ride!!! ;)
