I know each experience is different, but we are booked next December at Riviera.

Planning to come back midday for naps etc…

How much time would you allot to get back to each park (assuming we have dinner say 5pm ish)

1 hour for MK and AK?
30 mins to HS and Epcot?

Closer to 45mins for HS, since you need to get a connecting Skyliner from Caribbean Beach. If the lines are long at that station, it could add 15-20 minutes.

We just used the Skyliner from Riviera last week and no issues from there. Zero lines. Got right on - both ways. Only time that station is busy is opening hours of the parks and closing hours.

Most of the time, if everything is operating normally. We ran into a really long line midday once when the handicap loading area was down on the Epcot line and they had to slow it to a crawl frequently to allow wheelchairs and scooters to load at the main loading area.

yeah, we slowed down a few times but no big deal. We used the Riviera station probably 6 times and Caribbean Beach station once. Never was a line during our mid-day trips. We even got to HS at 8 AM without any lines during a holiday week. No complaints here. The ride back from Epcot during closing hours and heavy rain sucked though. Long wait but it moved. Just seemed like eternity because of the rain and cold.

You also need to factor in time to walk to/from the room and the park.
