Riviera questions - if you rent through Disney, are you still allowed to use the pools at CBR?

I read online that if you stay at Riviera, you are allowed to use the pools at CBR? I am renting through Disney. Am I still eligible? Has anyone ever done this? Is it a far walk from Riviera to Old Port Royale and Fuentes del Morro pool at CBR? Would anyone actually want to use the pool at CBR If staying at Riviera (we have young kids with us).

That would be via the pool hopping privileges that are extended to DVC owners (resale or direct). However, since reopening after COVID they have yet to return that privilege. So in short no you wouldn’t be able to and DVC members can’t either right now.
