riverside building with lots of trees/flowers

Hello: We are looking at staying at the port orleans riverside. Looking for a mansion with lots of trees/flowers any suggestions. I know about the alligator bayou with lots of trees but there are only two of us, I don't think they will let two people stay there.

DH and I just got back from POR a few days ago and we stayed in Alligator Bayou.

It was beautiful and I loved the buildings much better than Mansions.

I'm pretty sure the only restriction on party size is if you have five in your party, you have to stay in AB...that's it.

If you want to stay in AB, note that on your reservation.

Yes, two people CAN stay at AB. I have done it several times (just dd19 and me). We actually prefer Bayou over the Mansions!

For those that have just been to the alligator bayou were there many flowers around this time of year? We are looking at going the last week feb/first week march or mid april, hoping for trees with leaves (lol) and flowers.

The foliage is very lush. There is always plenty to look at/admire with the landscaping. The closer to spring, the more flowering trees you will see....but any time frame is good.
