Rising Rack Rates vs Rising Maintenance Fees

Rising Rack Rates vs Rising Maintenance Fees... The cost of non DVC Disney lodging is going up but so are the DVC maintenance fees. So where is the advantage in buying into the DVC if you factor this variable into the equation?

I am currently waiting to get through rofr but this question is nagging me.

IF you have, for example $750 in annual fees, and that garners the equivalent of $2000 in rack rate rooms..if they both rise at nearly the same annual rate based on inflation and costs, it will always be a favorable comparison.
