Rise of the Resistance BOARDING GROUPS Superthread Part 2 *No Ride Spoilers Please* *PLEASE READ POSTS 1-3*

What? Indy broke down?

That ride has been around for 25 years and it is still breaking down almost every day? Let's all just agree that Indy is a disaster, the ride is an utter failure, and Disney blew it big time with this ride...

25 years of experience does not lie...

:duck:
My friends and I were at the park one day and Indy didn't break down at all! We were totally shocked. lol

First three hours today = 56 groups. They pulled a massive lunch time acceleration maneuver calling 11 of those groups in a 20 minute period from 11:20 to 11:40.

DHS is having a decent day as well so far, though they are into their third downtime. Hopefully they recover quickly and finish the day strong.

Dang it, Mando. I said watch for Jawas.

Let's see if the team can get things back up and running. We are still on pace for an all time high if they get it back up and running soon. I know they distributed at least up to 151 due to twitter posts.

Been a very nice run today --
Approaching 1 hour downtime mark. -- Mando clear them Jawas out. Need 3 more good hours.

My Intel on the ground just told me the line is standing up and moving.

Forgive me if this has been explained, but how does one mock book at home? All these reports about trying from home to test it out, I don’t get it?

You can click “join boarding group” from home. Then it will stop you because your tickets aren’t actually scanned in. But you can do the process all the way up to when you’d confirm your boarding if you were in the park.

Or, if you are like me and don't have tickets or passes, you can get to the screen where you would select your party, but can't because you don't have tickets or passes. It makes me a little sad each time I do it, too.

The main thing is getting to an active "Join Boarding Group" button, though. Figuring out the timing of that, how your phone behaves, how far ahead/behind your network time is of the Disney servers, all that good stuff.

We’ve made it to 151. I wonder if any more were distributed since the spread is currently 139-151

Well, looks like they didn't expect to do quite this well today. It would appear that we're done and happy with tying the all-time high, and doing it with an hour to spare. They'll go into maintenance early and prep for tomorrow, which will start the last 9:00 AM opening week for a while as the Spring Break season begins next week. Hopefully this will encourage them to start offering more than 151 groups, at least on longer days.

As the chart will show, we have now had our first full week of 120+ BGs being called each day, with the worst day being yesterday. This does feel like improvement. Not perfection, but definitely improvement.

Today did not support the "A" team hypothesis, with DHS suffering a 2.5 hour downtime to end their day. Word has it that they got back up and running at about 6:30pm, let everyone in the queue ride, and then shut down for the night. Our excellent performance today suggests that if we do have a "B" team on hand, they have become more adept. Hopefully whatever learning is happening is getting shared between the two locations.

This is not THE CHART you're looking for:

Edit: This chart was posted prematurely because I made a bad assumption.

(You can go about your business and see the full chart on post 2)
