Rip Ride Rockit - for the faint of heart?

I have to say, I've never rode this roller coaster, and now I feel kind of happy that I didn't. I just really don't trust a coaster that takes you up as high and as fast as it does, and breaks several times a day.

Actually it's not very high or fast by roller coaster thrill ride standards. I won't, however, challenge the assertion that it broke down regularly.

They could be working on it in other locations...:rolleyes1
Yeah, I figure it's train work.

Chocolate, we're up to 76 Disney cruises now, but I think we're only spent slightly more time on board the ship than we have waiting for HRRR breakdowns, hee hee.

Here's hoping it reopens by the post-holiday "dead season." I'm so happy Busch is going with a real coaster company for their new Cheetah Hunt (although I'd still rather see B & M).

They could also be doing some track fabrication off site.

Spoke to an old friend thats been working there forever. Not looking good for our trip anyway (this week into next) - I guess the immediate future isn't looking so good. Glad we rode this past December. Or should I say my family did...not me.:rotfl:

I just got home yesterday, and both days we were are Universal it was closed, they said it had been down for sometime. They had pre printed notices at the turnstiles to say it was not operating, DH was quite disappointed as it wasnt ready in 2008 when we were there and was looking forward to it!
