I heard about this morning. It's truly sad and the international soccer community is mourning about it. It's truly a sad day.

Terrible loss for the football community.

On a related note, Wimbledon announced that their all white dress policy has been relaxed to accommodate for the tributes to Jota.

And let's please not forget his brother, Andre Silva, who played professionally in Portugal. It has been a very sad day indeed for the world soccer family. At the start of the Spain vs. Portugal women's game today, they held a moment of silence for Diogo. Professionally, he probably had his best year ever, winning both the Premier League's championship with Liverpool and the Nation's League championship with Portugal. Personally, his poor wife and children, and their poor parents for losing two children at the same time.
