Rihanna or Chris Brown??

Hey guys i recently heard this whole thing about Chris Brown beating up Rihanna and was curious what you guys think about it??

I personally think that if Chris did hit her that is not right. A man should never hurt a woman under any circumstances and i feel horrible for Rihanna.

Unfortunately, people are abused by their significant others everyday. If the news stories are accurate, then I feel really bad for Rihanna. But I think that " a man should never hit a woman" thing is kind of a double standard in society. Nobody should hit each other, not just men hitting women. Women shouldn't hit men, men shouldn't hit men, and women shouldn't hit women as well. And additionally, society tends to be more sympathetic in cases like these to the woman. If it was Rihanna hitting Chris Brown, it wouldn't recieve the same type of attention. I don't like to hear that anyone is being abused, its very sad.

i just saw a pic of Rihanna post 'beating'
it's heatbreaking to say the least. that poor girl.
i always really liked chris brown and at first i was like, 'alright well maybe we need to hear his side of the story', but after seeing this photo, i can't find a way for chris brown to come out of this situation very well. and i can't say i WANT him to come out on top. he deserves a verrrrry severe punishment.

i hope that rihanna can come out of this a strong woman!!
and i hope chris brown gets what's coming to him.

I saw that photo of Rihanna last night. I can't believe the comments I've read people say...that it's HER fault.

Very unfortunate situation. But Chris will get 10 times worse in prison. Woman and child abusers are viewed as the worst type of person by inmates, and they will make his life a living hell.

- On a side note though; You guys are saying NOBODY should ever get it. Well, look at the way we view male/female roles. If in a movie, let's say, a woman slaps her husband for cheating on her & storms out of the room. Most people would be in support of them. But if a man slapped a woman for cheating on him, we'd yell 'domestic abuse' & want to put the guy in prison forever.

It's just interesting, the stereotypes and all.
