OK so I thought I had it sussed having never done this before. I thought 90 days before my 1st planned reservation I could call up and book all my reservations. Is this correct?

I thought today was my 90 days (that's what the calculator on here tells me) - CM I just spoke to tells me it's tomorrow so after it taking her 15 minutes (on an international call from the UK I would add) she tells me I need to phone back tomorrow. Could she not have told me this at the start of the call before I spelled out all my details, name, address, zip code, told her several times I was staying at Disney? Ask her if that means I then have to wait another few days to call back for my second reservation she doesn't seem to really know.

She kept having to put me on hold and clearly didn't understand my accent - lol!!

I shouldn't have phoned today - I have had one of those days. But assuming I phone back tomorrow which is 90days before the first reservation I HOPE to make will I also be able to make a second reservation for a few days later or should I just wait til 90 days til the second one in the hope I get both and don't have to phone again and spell everything?

I wasn't feeling the "have a magical day!" when I hung up - lol!

Hi,

If you are checking in on July 16 then today (Friday, 17 April) is indeed day 90 and you should just call back and speak to someone else. It is possible you wound up with someone who didn't know what she was doing.

If you are checking in on the 17th then tomorrow (Saturday, 18 April) is your 90th day.

I think there must be an error in the calculator...several people have been reporting they're calling in a day early after using the calculator on here. If should be 90 days from your check in day at a Disney resort, and then you can book that day & 9 additional days (for a total of 10 days) on your 90 day mark.

just thinking about this along with you...

The calculator on here says 90 days from now is 7/16/09.
That's the day of the first reservation you want?

If so - then yes - you are in your 90 day mark.
Maybe the lady misunderstood the date you said or something?

Who knows?

I was looking to make my first reservation for the 17th but we are checking in on the 16th - I tried to tell her that but at that point I gave up as she clearly didn't understand what I was saying. She had my zipcode wrong when she quoted it back to me and I got the feeling she couldn't find my Disney reservation (I don't have a disney reservation no as we've booked through a UK travel agent and the booking info I have only has a reference for them not an actual Disney one - I don't think this helped any).

I'll wait til tomorrow and try again then. I take it I should be fine for all my reservations tomorrow though!? Fingers crossed it is someone different.

Thanks

If that happens again to you tomorrow, ask for a supervisor - they can transfer you...no sense making another international call. They should be able to find your reservations -- but is there anyway your TA can give you the official Disney confirm #...we booked through a TA & she was able to give me the Disney confirm number so I could book my dinner reservations for May 2009.

Thanks - hadn't thought about that - will phone the TA in the morning before I call Disney back!!

Thank you!

Blah, I'm sorry that happened to you. I can kinda understand her having problems with the accent though, I dated a guy from Bridge of Allen for 2 years and it took me a long time to understand him lol. Best of luck getting your TA to do it, isn't that what we pay them for? hehe

I can't resist this! So before you could understand him, were you guys just speaking the "International Language"? hehehehe:rotfl:

Good luck, OP!!

Dunno if it matters, but isn't Scotland about 6 hours "ahead" of Eastern Daylight Time(Disney time)? If you called at 1:00AM your time, it's still "the day before" in Florida.:confused3

Anyway, good luck & enjoy your visit.:)

LOL - I didn't call at 1 am!!

I live about 3 miles or something from Bridge of Allan!! I won't ask who you dated - lol!!

Anyway I phoned yesterday and got someone who knew what she was doing - took us a while to find my reservation but that's because she was looking for an "e" rather than an "a". Even when I spell it you guys don't understand me - lol!! Anyway we have a Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's breakfast booked and I'm sooooooooooo excited!!!! :woohoo::woohoo:

88 days til check in!! Yeay!!!

Thanks for everyone's help.
