Rifle/Shooting Range ?

Hi all

Does anyone know of a Shooting/Rifle range in the i-drive area, my uncle is interested in going while we are away and a friend of his did it a few years ago.

I think that there is a shooting range on the Visitors circle near to Walgreens over the road from Wet and wild.

Yvettej i do agree guns should be banned for people to carry and use outside of a controlled enviroment, but i cant see the harm in people who use them as a sport that do not involve risk to people or animals.

For reasons above these places do not advertise a lot !!!

Ask at reception or a taxi driver and they will help you out. I have not been as I agree with Yvettej to some extent, but they are legal in the US.

I would also be interested in any info on shooting ranges, I agree guns arnt a good thing but i would like to try the experience of shooting one.

OK I found 3 places that seem to be closeish to I drive. probably 30 - 40 min drive away at the most I would guess.

No promises as to what the places are like as I have not visited them.

These were all from local papers etc.

I do not know of any regulations about attending the clubs or even if UK nationals can visit even.

Knowing the current security crisis and general panic regarding non nationals in the US please make sure that everything is covered before you leave the UK.

Just to let you know the gun range opposite Wet and Wild (formely Shooting Sports) has closed down.

I went over there a few years back and there was a kid (aged 12)in the range shooting a 357 magnum!???!
