Riding with your family in the front of the monorail.

Will your family still ride in the front of the monorail?

  • Yes - why not.

  • No - never again.

  • I never thought it was a good idea.

1 fatality in 38 years. How many deaths in planes or cars in the same time span? Yet we all still drive or fly to Disney. You'd be safer staying home.

I didn't answer poll-I needed another option the "I'd think twice" one.

We have ridden twice in front with our two kids. It did give me a twinge of fear... no seatbelts, huge glass "windshield". But then I'm the mom that can't enjoy SpaceMountain with the kids because my primal instinct to protect them and my gut screaming at me they're going to fly out!:scared1:

I flew pregnant & alone with my toddler 2 weeks after Sept 11 to make it to a family wedding. I don't let fear stop me in life. I feel and know its much safer to fly than drive a car any day. Logically, I know the monorail system statistically is very safe. I will ride again but like I said, I'd think twice about riding in front. If I did ride up front, I wonder if the experience would be overcome thinking about the accident and the man who's life ended that way.

If you said no never again you are a wacko, one crash in 39 years is extremely safe. But if you are the nervous type I would be careful driving your car tomorrow, or flying down to Disney. If I were you I would wrap myself in bubble wrap and lock myself in the closet.

I LOVE OLD BAND-AID!!!

I will never do it again ...

We have done it many many times so it will not be no big deal to stop
