If I use the WDW resort bus to the MK, it goes directly to the park and there's no need to take the monorail, right? At some point during the day if we just want to take a ride on the monorail for fun, is there a way to do that? And if so, where would we go to do that? If I remember correctly, there is a monorail to the Ticket and Trasportation Center and another to the resorts, so I'm wondering which one to take, if this is possible. Can the same be done at Epcot too? Thanks for your help!

There are two monorail loops at the MK, the express loop which stops only at the TTC and the resort loop which stops at the TTC and the three Magic Kingdom resorts.

You can definitely just ride the monorail for fun. You can ride either loop at the MK, just get back off the train when it gets back to the MK.

When you take it to the TTC you can get off there and get on the line to Epcot. That's fun because it's longer and it makes a loop around the park before stopping. Sometimes they make you get off and get back in line to go back to TTC and sometimes they just let you stay on. Enjoy.
