Riding ferry to MK to see Wishes

Is there any way to time the ferry ride from WL or FW to see Wishes from the water? Would it be a good view, or would you have the island blocking part of the view?

IF the boat got to the MK dock before Wishes, can Wishes be seen from the boat dock?

Hi,
First of all, I would recommend that you see wishes from a place where you can hear the story and music that goes with it, like CR, TTC (they pipe in the music from the park) or MK (of course ). The beaches at FW or the Poly are great places to see the show.

Can you see Wishes from the cruisers? You can, but how much of the show you will be able to see depends on too many things (besides being blocked by CR for a portion) to explain. There have been nights when I have been able to slow enough for the guests onboard to see all of wishes, but if the show is going as the park is closing, and there are 120 guests on board, we just don't have the time. Something else to keep in mind is that if the park is closing and you get on a boat at FW or WL, there is no guarantee that the boat is going to return to the same stop. Depending on the crowd in the park, we separate the line--one for FW, the other for WL. We don't know where we will be going until we get to MK.

The best thing to do is to ask the pilot or deckhand on the night you "wish" to go.

You can easliy see wishes from the parking lot Ferry that goes back and forth - Just don't get off and make sure you are on the uppper level. A great CM gave the tip last spring. I would not try it on the smaller boats that go between the resorts.
