Ridiculous question about time zone

Hi, I have a really silly question and I thought maybe someone would know the answer......At the bottom of this website it says "All times are GMT" and then it goes on to list the time. Im wondering where this time zone is out of? Silly, I know, but I wonder every time I see it. Thanks, Donna

GMT=Greenwich Mean Time... it's the "base" time zone that all others are measured off of. It's Greenwhich, England. Right now England is one hour ahead of GMT (which never goes into daylight savings time since all other zones are measured off of it)

GMT is "Greenwich Mean Time" . Greenwich being in England and it's where time is measured from around the world.

Mine says "GMT -5" which is the east coast with daylight savings time. Not like those goofballs in Indiana that don't play well with others.

Not sure from your pos tif you have done this and it took me a while to figure it out -

click on your user CP and then edit options and near the bottom you can change your time to your time zone - before I did this I thought people really posted at odd times!!!!!
