Rideshare MCO Confusion

I just used Uber at MCO this weekend.

It is on Baggage Claim level 2, do not go down to bottom level 1.

When you go on the app, it will ask you what Terminal you are in, as well as what baggage claim/door number you will be standing outside of.
Example: We used it and took Delta so we were at Terminal B, Arrivals Level 2, Baggage Claim 29 (you will see the doors and signs outside marking the pick up)

Thank you!

Last time I used Lyft the.app obtained my location from my phone. The.app told me what side of.the airport I was at, what door was i was standing in front of and suggested that as my pickup location. Thr app gave me an opportunity to modify it.

The map showing the drivers location was wrong, or at least misleading. The driver was dropping of.a pax on level 3. The app didn't know altitude and thought the driver.was very near me. The app map then showed the driver looping around. A 2 minute wait became almost 10 minutes. No big deal.

The Rideshare pickup for Orlando is right outside baggage claim. Head there after you land, and you'll be given a list of door numbers by the app to wait near.

This did change in the last couple of years. Previously ride share pickup was only on either end of the baggage claims on level two. I don't recall rideshare ever being down on 1. Now they pick up the entire length of the baggage claims.

There are so many options for ground transportation and so many passenger vehicles coming into and leavlng the airport that it takes two levels (Level 1 and Level 2) to pick up everyone.

Not sure if limos and towncars still use the interior lanes (exit doors on Level 1 corridor between the rental counters and opposite the windows and doors to outside)
