Hello!

My daughter is soo worried about this so I promised I would ask. She is 5'2 and weighs about 170. She is just certain she wont fit in any of the rides. I assured her I had read rides are very roomy in disney but she still is worried. Am I correct? I had heard large people 250 + had no trouble with most rides. Are there any "Tight" rides?

Thanks.

btw- were only visiting magic kingdom, islands of adventure, typhoon lagoon, and epcot.

thanks!

But I did have a problem with Kracken at seaworld... Almost all the rides at disney are bench seat/lap bar type rides. I dont think she will have a problem...

Tell her to rest assured. I weigh well over 300 lbs and am about 5'3 I have no problem on the rides. I was really scared to go the first time (2 years ago) so much so that I cancelled our first trip. I finally faced my fear and truly had the best time of my life. Please Please Please tell your daughter not to worry at all. She will fit for sure.

I absolutely guarantee that your DS will have no trouble with any of the rides at WDW. Tell her to not even give it a thought and just have fun. :thumbsup2

You might want to look at the Universal board. I have read there that some rides have certain rows with larger seats. I'm worried about it too! That being said, I had no trouble at WDW with any rides.

If you search for "Pooh sized" on this board you will come up with a lot of threads. It's such a common concern that it comes up about once a week. I've very seldom seen anyone post about having a problem at WDW.

Ah, a question that I am well qualified to answer. At 375 during out last trip, there was nothing at disney that I could not ride. I did not try RnR but have ridden it in the past at over 300. Islands of adventure was a different story. She will be fine.

My husband is 6' and weighs around 265 or so, and he had absolutly no problems on any rides, and we went to all the Disney parks, and Universal Studios the last time we were there. In fact he seemed to fit the restraints better than I did. I got thrown around on almost everything, and got a sore neck. Not that that has affected my decision in anyway that Disney World is still the best place on earth - :thumbsup2
