rides/shows with no waits

Our first night there in May we managed to walk on to Splash twice, thunder mountain, haunted mansion and It's a Small World. Took us about an hour and 20 minutes. Great way to start the trip :goodvibes

When we went in Sept 2002, we had pretty much no waits for the rides. The shows we only had to wait when we got there early before they let anyone in, other than that...no lines as well. It was awesome!

We just got home yesterday and had very few waits all week. Most of our longest waits, if you can even call them that, were waiting for pre-shows. When the Halloween Party started we walked onto Peter Pan - that's never happened. The ships were passing faster than people could make it through the queue. We did that, Dumbo, Snow White, and Pooh in about 20 minutes total - that included taking our time walking from one to the other to look around.

Just back Sept. 16-23, and our longest wait for anything was about 10 minutes or so and that was Dumbo. We only used 2 FastPasses the whole trip. Many of the rides said 20 minute waits, but that turned out to be almost universally NOT the case.

When we were there in early June 2005 the longest we waited to ride/see anything was about 15 minutes. We waled on Pirates,BTMR,Buzz,Turtle Talk.

Sounds like us! We didn't even use our 2nd! By the time we got off of Rock N Rollercoaster, the fast pass line was longer than the standby (we had about 10 people to their 2, LOL!) The CMs didn't even take our fast passes, LMAO!

We just returned yesterday and we went to MNSSHP on 10/2.... while we were at the "party" we basically rode everything without a wait! Everyone else was waiting for the parades/Hallowishes, but my girls weren't into them. We rode Thunder Mtn. numerous times, then continuously rode Peter Pan, Snow White, Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Lightyear, etc... without a wait! It was awesome!

Last 2 trips... longest wait was 10 minutes and that was because we "strayed" from the plan. We never wait in line for ANYTHING.

Why?

We usually go early/mid December and each year the lines have been getting considerably longer. Still no comparison to the dead of summer, but when we first started making December a regular time to visit the lines were more comparable to what we experienced last week. Word has gotten out about how nice December is and there are a lot more 30-60 minute waits than there used to be. If you time your park time right and use fast passes, you can still get in and out of lines in a reasonable time.

Wow, I think I'm going to start going in September instead of December from now on.

We usually go during Spring Break which is one of the most crowded times of the year; yet at EPCOT, we were still able to ride several rides with little to no wait:

Universe of Energy (walk-on)
Journey into Your Imagination (walk-on)
Spaceship Earth (short wait)
El Rio Del Tiempo (walk-on)
Haunted Mansion (short wait!!!!)

All of them except Soarin' at one time or another (March, May, Sept, Dec).

If you don't mind missing Spectromagic, then it's a great time to hit the rides. Me and my 2 friends did that on our past trip in August. We went on Space twice, Splash once, and Big Thunder twice. We even got to stay on Big Thunder, we didn't have to get off and run back into the line. We did most of that during Spectro. Of course we ran from one side of the park to the other.

Mid Dec have had no lines at all.

September is one of the best tmes to go {after labor day} Very few things have lines. We were there 6 seperate times this past September, and there were no lines anywhere, with the exception of Soarin' on September 24th. Needed a fast pass there.

If you plan carefully you should not wait in line for more than 15 minutes with the exception being between 12-3 pm.
