Are there any rides in either Disneyland Park or Walt Disney Studios (already) that are looking very worn or a bit worse for wear?

Any have any scheduled rehab dates?

I heard Space Mountain was in pretty bad condition before the closure to change it to Mission 2, and that even the castle doesn't look too great right now. Although all the 15 years Celebration may change this...any news?

Rock'NRoller & Space mountain need their music fixing.

In November I could not even here the countdown in my seat on Rock'n'Roller.

I think most people were expecting the castle to have a lick of paint prior to the Anniversary, but it looks highly unlikely that there's a major rehab on the cards, in fact I think one of our members phoned Disney to check that the castle isn't due to be covered up for their visit. I think I've seen the photo of the castle you're referring to (green moss on a turret) whether this is actually that visible to the naked eye rather than through a zoom lense I wouldn't like to say.
I'm always amazed at how much work goes on after dark in the park, with the gold character figures due to go up onto the castle overnight, who knows they may do a quick rehab at the same time. :)

There's a list of scheduled closures here up to June 2007.http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/practical/scheduledclosures/

It's time to rethink, or replace, Star Tours. I loved the ride for many years, but now its creaking technology has become rather tedious. Yes, it has nostalgia going for it, but that's not quite enough to merit such valuable real estate at the parks.
