Rides during Mardi Gras concert

I heard that the USF rides will be closed at Mardi Gras parade start. How long does the parades usually last? Will the rides also be closed during the concerts or only during parades? I will be in USF on April 11th and Band Perry will be playing there. Thanks =)

We were there last Saturday during the Mardi Gras parade and the rides were still running. We left before the concert thought, so I can't comment on that part.

Rides run up to park closing thru the parade.

The rides continue until park closing time. Friday, I rode ET at 9:55pm (10pm closing time) after the concert ended.

That's great to know - was a bit worried as there's something in the Mardi Gras FAQ on the Universal website that says that rides and attractions will close when the parade starts, but if they're actually continuing to run them throughout the night that will be great!

I have been doing Mardi Gras for many many years. They always TM the rides to normal park closing time. It's the guests choice to do rides as normal or parade. Like tonight the parade starts at 7:45 and concert starts at 8:30. Park is open to 10pm.
