Are there certain rides that they allow an adult to take more than one child (2 in our case)?

We have two kids, 2 and almost 4, under 40".

I was thinking if either me or my husband would like to go on a ride with a 40" height limit, one can go while the other one can take both kids on another ride? :confused3

We switched off alot last week. There were lots of things that I took two kids on by myself - DL Train, Autopia (they even let us go through twice so both kids could have a chance to drive while I pushed the pedals), Small World, Winnie the Pooh (so I'm guessing if it's small children, any of the dark rides in Fantasyland would work as well), Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, etc. We had a family of 5, so we often had three of us on a ride together.

Thank you for your response wrightut.

That's great! I'll make a note of these rides in particular :)

We don't have 2 kids but there are a lot of rides DH, DS and I can ride together so if 2 adults and a child can fit there will be plenty of room for 2 kids and one adult. Some of the ones not already mentioned are Peter Pan, Dumbo, and Casey Jr. Train. There is also the Mark Twain River boat and the Columbia as well as the monorail and the main street vehicles. In DCA there is Monster's Inc, Golden Zephyr, Flik's Fliers, Heimlich's chew chew train. I know there are others but those are the ones I remember for sure.

Don't forget about the Child Switch Pass either. That way, if your husband and you want the same ride, you won't have to wait in line twice! Your husband can get in line and get the child switch pass. You take the kiddos on other rides. Once your husband gets off, he can meet back up with you with the pass. You can ride the same attraction immediately or come back later in the day without waiting in line (go through the exit). Your husband can then take the kids on something else while you ride.

It will save you a lot of time. :)

I was going to mention the child swap pass, but someone beat me to it. DLR is really good at making accommodations for people.

Thanks you all. This is really informative.

This Child Swap Pass sounds great, we'll have to use that.

As I was looking into the CSP, I read that there's this Single Rider Pass as well.

Has anyone used any combination of the 3.. Fastpass, Child Swap Pass, and Single Rider Pass? This does tend to get complicated :scratchin

I love the single rider option! It is awesome. I got on TSMM in 5 minutes compared to the 45 minute wait time that was the stand-by queue
